My first ever copper etching print created for BGSU's Intro to Printmaking class! With the prompt of "dreamscape", my print visualizes the sensation of being swallowed up by a beautifully vast and hungry nightmare.

The etching process involved six stages of acid baths to create the gradation between lights and darks. The resist layer was a fine coating of spray paint, which gives the background it's speckled starry texture.
